Welcome to MOONSTONE LABRADORS'
website and thank you for visiting. We have been Moonstone
Labradors since Spring, 1998. Prior to that for 8 years I owned
Yauhannah Creek Labradors in Georgetown, South Carolina,
breeding fine Labrador retrievers for hunting and companion dogs.
Bill got his  first Lab in 1992 -- I got my first field trial Lab in 1994.
Oddly  enough, both of these Labs were out of the same sire,
FC-AFC Misty Morning Woody -- although Bill was in Utah and I was in
South Carolina.
BILL and I met in 1998 at a field trial in Cheraw, South
Carolina -- I was marshaling the derby and running my dog Moon, and
Bill running his dog Warner.  We were married in September, 1998,
not only bringing us together but also 6  dogs ranging from 3 months
to 4 years of age.
Shortly after that, Bill who is now a 30-year retired veteran of
the United States Air Force, was transferred overseas for a
3-year tour of duty. This was a hardship in a sense as most of the
dogs were living with good friends and not with us while living
overseas...it was very hard to have to take a long break from
field trials until Spring 2002. Every month we would anxiously
await the arrival of RFTN.
We retired to Bigfork in October 2003 and live on 17 acres in
the Flathead with 40 acres of excellent training grounds in the
Mission Valley.  The 40 acres of rolling hills of alfalfa and 5 ponds are
located in Ronan, Montana, and use of the training grounds is
permitted with our approval.
Of note, Bill is a kidney transplant recipient having had the
operation in April 2001 -- miraculously, I was almost a perfect
match for Bill and was able to donate one of my kidneys which
literally saved Bill's life.
I am happy and most thankful to be able to say that I am a breast
                                        cancer survivor having celebrated 3
                                               years of being cancer-free in
.                                                                       December 2005.
Bill is enjoying a well-deserved retirement and trains during
most of his spare time. I take care of the business side of
MOONSTONE LABRADORS and delight in having a litter of
puppies around.  Both of us are amateur trainers and handlers
and are looking forward to the joy of running our dogs in field
trials and hunt tests as well as hunting them.
We are extremely grateful to have the rare opportunity of
having one of our first dogs become an AFC -- more so than the title,
we  are blessed to have Libby ...and Gussy, Cassie, Moon, Shorty,
Ham, Biscuit....and our new sweetie-pie Molly (FC-AFC
Yellowstone's TNT Explosion JH  X  AFC Bams Liberty Belle MH).

I will forever be grateful for Zebber.
